This purpose of this post is to provide a link to a podcast. I have enjoyed the short ones that have been used for class purposes. I have found one that is an interview with Karen Schneider whose blog is the Free Range Librarian. This is a long podcast, 40 minutes, but it discusses what Open Source Library software has to offer.

An very interesting concept for library automation.
My source for this was from Talking with Talis , http://talk.talis.com/ .
The link to Karen Schneider's blog is : http://freerangelibrarian.com/
She is a most interesting and entheusiastic person and is the Community Librarian at Equinox, the support and development company for Evergreen open-source library software.
